My husband has an Intel Mac Mini that has issues. He can't open the print dialog box from any application--Mail, Firefox, Quickbooks, Word, etc. He can't print anything at all because the dialog box won't open when selecting and or clicking the print icon if there is one in that application. I deleted the printers and reinstalled the drivers...nothing. I upgraded from OS 10.7 to 10.8...again nothing. I zapped the pram...still nothing. I've been using Macs for 15 years and this issue has got me stumped. Any suggestions?

  • Establish a remote session to the remote Mac computer. On the remote computer, open any application and print as you normally would. In the print dialog box, choose a Splashtop Remote Printer and click Print. In a few seconds, a print dialog box will pop up on the local computer (where your Splashtop Business app is running).
  • I've had a problem for some time where the print dialogue box takes at least 30-40 seconds to open every time I want to print a pdf file out of Adobe Reader. I've always upgraded to the most recent version once I get a prompt but the problem seems to be getting worse & worse.
